God is calling us to return to Him. Zechariah. God’s temple is half finished being rebuilt and He wants it completed. I believe God is saying His church is half complete and He wants it completed. He is saying “Return to Me”, in our hearts, in obedience to Him.
God would remind us of His most important commandment “to love God with all our heart, soul and strength”. God would ask “Do we?” “Do we really know what that means? What does it look like? What does it feel like?” I asked God to guide us.
I believe He said “The cross. Start there”. Look and understand what My Son Jesus did for you at the cross. Victory, salvation, healing, redemption, dealt with your sin, broke every curse, delivered you from every evil, gave you freedom. He would say “Gather all this up, in your arms, and bring it to me. Lay it all out before Me and ask Me “Did Your Son really do this for me?” “Ask Me”.
For each person that asks, God will answer “Yes” and He will reveal to that person “and He also did this for you, and this, and this and this….”. Then He will reach out and touch your heart and say “I love you so much”, “I am so proud of you”, and you will love Him back with all your heart, soul and strength. You just will. Amen
“Return to Me” says the Lord of lords “and I will return to you”. He wants to complete His church.
During worship at church I asked God what He meant by “I will return to you” I prayed to Him His Word “I will never leave you nor forsake you”. He said “Seek first My kingdom. I will be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path. I will lead you in the way everlasting”.
