Pioneers blaze a trail, settlers establish the trail, and consumers abuse the trail. The progression from pioneering to consuming is evident throughout history, culture, families, and unfortunately churches.
– God created us to be pioneers, never consumers.
– The Great Commission has everything to do with pioneering.
– The ‘Parable of the Talents’ has everything to do with enlarging the territory.
– Consumers must have an identity change.
